Riverwalk Trail
This lighted 1. 5 mile trail (3 miles round trip)takes you through a quiet neighborhood, a rest plaza, and follows theMiddle Prong of the Little Pigeon River to the terminus at the city parking lot. Enjoy the quite walk, bike, or runthrough a variety of terrain. There are numerous benches along the trail for those who wish and enjoy the scenery.

Patriot Park
Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge, TN is another family favorite amid the go-kart tracks and mini-golf courses. The park is dedicated to veterans from Sevier County that served during wartime and is located right along Old Mill Square. Around the walking track, which takes you along the Little Pigeon River, are flags from the 50 states and from branches of the armed forces. The central point of Patriot Park is a Patriot Missile, which was made famous during the first Gulf War. The parking area of Patriot Park is the hub for the Fun Time Trolley. Patriot Park is also the location several annual Pigeon Forge events, such as the Patriot Festival.

Cades Cove
Cades Cove is the most visited area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This 6, 800-acre valley is located about 31 miles away from Pigeon Forge and is known for its beautiful landscapes. Here you can observe diverse wildlife as well as 19thcentury historic buildings that include churches and pioneer log cabins. Cades Cove has awe-inspiring forests are filled with trails exploring Abrams Falls, a picturesque waterfall with a 20-foot drop to a pool and stream below located on Abrams Creek. Take a nature trail hike to encounter the tranquility of the mountains and an array of photo opportunities along the way. The best way to experience all of this beauty is by taking Cades Cove Loop Road, an 11-mile, one-way, paved loop road. The path is open from sunrise to sunset year-round. On Wednesdays and Saturdays from early May to late September the road is closed to motor vehicles until 10 A. M. Every Saturday in December, the loop closes to cars until noon. During this time bicyclist and hikers can take a safe and quiet journey along this road experiencing the wildlife, nature and history of Cades Cove.
