Inside you’ll find that “Bed & Breakfast” charm everywhere you look & from the complementary morning newspaper. “A Precious Place” is designed to feel like your home and provides books, magazines and area maps for your convenience. The living room is a cozy space with a gas fireplace and comfy furnishings, including a TV, VCR, and DVD player. There’s also a game cabinet with lots of old fashioned ways to pass the time. The nearby kitchen is fully furnished with all the desired amenities and has access to a small deck where you will find a quaint bistro patio set and a smoker grill. Stepping through the sliding glass doors from the living room into the enclosed sun room, you have a view directly into the woods with scenes of the changing seasons. There’s also a wall mounted TV here and dual ceiling fans, making it the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon glass of iced tea while lounging in the wicker furniture. During the holiday season, from early November to the end of February, there are 3 heavily decorated, full-size Christmas trees for you to enjoy. All 3 trees are transformed into three Valentine theme trees after Christmas! The home’s 2 bedrooms have queen size beds and are serviced by 2 separate full baths. One has a southern theme and is affectionately called “Scarlet’s Suite” and the other, “Miss O’Hara’s Oasis,” is also cleverly decorated. A lower deck accessible from outside has a recliner lounger and an old fashioned porch swing. The lower level game room is equipped with a fast paced air hockey table and electronic (soft tipped) dart board. Washer, dryer, and folding table can be found in the adjoining laundry area. With a location that is convenient to downtown and also near the National Park, this home has the best of both worlds.
